- Eastman have won 4 national export awards, including one
conferred by the then Prime minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- It has received Special Latin American Countries Focus Award for
outstanding performance in export for 1999-2000 by the Minister of
Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
- Engineering Export Award for two consecutive years in 2004-05 and
2005-06 by the Minister of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
- Mr. Kapil Dev, the renowned cricketer and former Indian Cricket
Test Team's captain is the Brand Ambassador for the Eastman Group.
- The total sales was USD 16.00 million during the financial year
06-07, which was USD 6.53 million during 2003-04.
- 1978 - The first shipment of components and accessories leaves
for foreign shores.
- 1980 - Argentina and Ivory Coast bikes moves on the road equipped
with Eastman parts.
- 1980 - New Business negotiations with other Latin American and
Francophone countries paves the way for Eastman.
- 1986 - Onwards to Europe, Middle East, Far East...
- 1989 - The sister concern Eastman Cast & Forge Ltd. takes
birth to manufacture hand tools and forging the company. Besides
being exporter to Europe, also sells to OEM such as Honda, TAFE,
HMT, Bajaj Auto, Kirlosker and Mahindra & Mahindra.
- 1990 - Product adaption after Market Research endeavours success
in reaching markets with new products.
- 1997 - Eastman receives National Export Award from the Prime
Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A recognition from
Govt. Of India to manufacturing and export oriented company. An
honour shared among twenty companies in India.
- 2000 - For the earnest Quality Policies, Eastman earns ISO 9001
certification.
- 2001 - Quality in service, induction of ERP begins to optimise
database management and customer service.
